I got my 2 dress patterns printed from Spoonflower finally. I am ready to go! Only one problem. I thought for some reason that the fabric was 58" wide, and not 56" inches. So part of the insides of my bodice pieces got cut off. But that's okay, if something had to get cut off, those would be the best pieces for it to happen to. I got some plain fabric that I can use for the insides, and next time I have these printed, they will be adjusted to fit the 56" width!
oops. The cotton sateen is the one I used and its 58" wide.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is what I used too. I really thought that it said 58" wide when I ordered it. If you look on their fabrics and prices page, it says 56" wide printable area (142cm). The fabric itself is wider, but it doesn't print all the way out to the edges. I just measured the cropped printable area and it is actually 55.75" wide.
ReplyDeleteI know they ordered new cotton sateen. I had ordered it when it was from their old distributor and the 58" worked perfectly. Good to know the new measurements for future orders.
